Iwokrama, Guyana

Looking for an alternative to wood, we decided to build this walkway in Guyana out of a longer lasting, lower maintenance material. Obviously, aluminum is the best thing.

We found Bob Fulton and Martin Rhodes, Fulton Engineering Ltd. We realized everything we build around the world had to be built to the highest standards, which is to Canadian engineering standards.

The platform shown here is in a greenheart tree, probably the longest-lasting hardwood in the Guyanas
